Osteochondral/Osteoarticular Graft Program

Patient-matched osteochondral allografts offer your patients freedom from painful joints and a faster return to normal activities. They are a convenient and effective solution for doctors who want quality mosaicplasty cartilage for their patients without the pain and morbidity associated with autogenous grafting. Allografts are suitable for transplantation to address large defects.

When you choose to resurface rather than replace cartilage, a frozen femoral hemi-condyle allograft from MTF is the foundation for restoring hyaline cartilage to full thickness. The patient receives the highest quality cartilage and bone, processed according to our years of experience with osteochondral allografts and treated with DMSO to enhance viability. We match all OC’s to the patient to ensure the best possible contour conformity of the allograft to the host femoral condyle.

Osteoarticular allografts provide the opportunity for your oncology patients to regain a full-functioning knee. The grafts restore bone to the resected areas, with cartilage-cartilage contact at the joint. If a TKA is indicated in the future, the graft has
re-established bone to accept the prosthesis. When your oncology cases require an OA transplant, a frozen patient-matched graft from MTF is the foundation for restoring the oncology knee to function.
